During the days of the Dolomites Balloonfestival visitors will have the chance to experience all kinds of entertainment with a variety of competitions taking place with all kinds of varying rules, goals, targets, and routes. This festival is ideal for families with kids. The ‘Kids-Balloon-Day’ is complete with Mini-Playback-Show, tethered balloon rides for kids, mass ascension of air-balloons for children and paper balloons.
During the Balloonfestival you can book hot air balloon trips at Toblach/Dobbiaco. One of the excursions lasts for approximately half a day with a hot air ballon ride lasting approximetly one hour depending on weather conditions. This exciting day is packed with fun and also includes setting up the balloon, the balloon trip itself as well as dismantling the balloon. In a hot air balloon basket there is generally enough space for 2-5 people. During the 10th edition of this special festival, visitors can also book a long ride over the Dolomites.
