This tour covers the most important “must-see” artworks in the Vatican Museum - Museo Vaticano - including the Sistine Chapel and Raphael’s Stanze.
Visitors will be provided with a map and headphones that amplify the guide’s voice because in some areas of the Museums it is not permitted to speak loudly.
After visiting the Sistine Chapel, the tour continues to St. Peter’s Basilica. There are approximately 30 people per tour group.
Dress: Modest dress - bare shoulders, shorts, thongs not permitted entry into St. Peter’s Basilica. As Mass is often being said in various parts of the church silence and respectful behaviour is requested.

The Vatican Museums is one of the most important Museum complexes in the world housing very important masterpieces from the Egyptian Age to late Renaissance.
The museums are composed of several sections:
- the Gregorian Etruscan Museum
- the Pinacoteca
- the Missionary-Ethnological Museum
- the Raphael Stanze
- the Sistine Chapel.
This reservation allows you to avoid the long queue to buy standard tickets for entrance to the Vatican Museums. Even though our ticket grants you the privilege of not standing on line, you may have to wait a few minutes at the main entrance door and at the metal detector line due to the enormous number of visitors that the Vatican Museums daily receive. The tour operators will not be responsible for possible delays due to unexpected delays at the Vatican ticket offices.
The Vatican Museum is closed on Sunday, except for the last Sunday of the month (no guided tours are available on this day).
