In a beautiful Umbrian village of Bevagna, this is a charming grand and historical residence for a reviving break where you can relax with the essential oils of the ‘Officina di Santa Maria Novella’. Special olfactory sensations, surprising little luxuries and fine flavours of local produce all make for a sense of wellbeing that won't be forgotten. Roman antiquities are also amongst the foundations of the palace. The hanging garden L’ Orto’, after which the resort was named, has always been the heart of the Residence and its charming atmosphere appeals to all the senses. It is a treat for the senses with its age-old wisteria, the sweet-smelling jasmine, the beautiful clematis and the old-fashioned rose beds, tended lovingly by the family. |

Other InformationThe fourteen rooms and apartments of the Residence are all different and preserve most of their original fittings: antique furniture, paintings, kitchen utensils and little things which have always been there and tell the history of the family giving a special charm to these comfortable spaces. In the elegant 18th-century Palazzo Andreozzi there are nine stylishly decorated rooms, named after the Angels portrayed in the exquisite frescoes to recall the family name.
The breakfast is sumptuous with wonderful breads and the most exquisite homemade jam that you will want to take home with you. The restaurant houses a fireplace so huge you can stand up in it. Here you can do a cooking school with some of the finest chefs in Umbria. A beautiful restaurant with historical roman walls that have been carefully preserved and built around. You must eat here.
